The only improvement they could make to the Envy is to make the sweet spot a bit big. It can be tough to find at times, but when you do get the sweet spot...WOW!

Cracked 8 inches on both sides of the barrel. Took it to a Mizuno Rep at my first tourney, he told me " thats not broke they will not replace it". So I used it one more time ,now it has a crack the size of a quarter in it. Now its on its way back. There is a reason the price has dropped since the first of the year!!

| Wednesday, April 26, 2006 | | Distance | 9 | At first i was really unsure about this bat. I didnt think it was worth the money, or hype that i had heard. By the end of the season however, this bat came around and hit some absolute bombs! I was amazed! It has a great feel, nice wrap on the handle, and the balance is great. My one knock on this bat is the durability. I had this bat for 8 mos. and it developed major cracking all over the barrel. Mizuno customer service was great, and i rec'd my new bat one week later. I'll resubmit a review after i break this one in, and see how it holds up. You can now get this bat for $150 on this site, which is a steal for sure! Well worth that price.

| Thursday, February 2, 2006 | | Distance | 9 | Last year I used the mizuno blur and found it to be an average bat.However the ENVY is a much better bat.I would say this the best MIZUNO bat out there this bat is better than the FURY or even the CRUSH bats.For an ASA bat it compares to the EVO SYNERGY2 FREAK98 and CATALYST bats.I have used all these bats and the ENVY ranks with them.All in all a good ASA bat.

| Friday, November 11, 2005 | | Distance | 10 | This bat is SICK!!! Major pop, but the durabilty SUCKS! I have now had 3 of them in the last 2 months. Each one only lasting around 2 weeks. For me, this bat ranks above ALL the Mikens...except the Ultra I and II of course. Still my favorite bat is the Easton Synergy (Original)! I just got my new one last Friday, and already has a crack. The last two I sent in had multiple cracks ranging from 3 to 4 inches long. Still had MAJOR pop even with the cracks, but sounded absolutly horrible. Hope the next one is as good as the last few!

So far I would say the sweetspot is a little small, however if you hit the ball there it makes an altogether diff. sound ,and flys to the out feild in a hurry.love the grip of the bat ,and when you hit the ball in the sweetspot of the bat you can hardly tell you have hit the ball, But if you hit the ball 2 or3 inches down from the end cap it will kill you hands.Be warned

I hit a line shot at the third baseman, who caught it, but all the people in the stands on their side started cheering because it was such a hot shot. This is the best ASA bat I have swung and it also out-performs many bats that have been banned by ASA. It is well worth the money.

I thought that I had found that with the Blur. I was wrong. My Blur has around 200 hits on it and My Envy has a mere 20-30, and I am already hitting further and with more pop with this bat. The very first at bat with this bat I hit a laser shot between 3rd and short. The infielders had no chance at the ball. Balls seem to jump off the bat quicker and with a distinctive "pop" sound. The Blur has now become a community bat while the Envy goes right back in my bag after every at bat.

If you can find the sweet spot the distance is fine. It's had about three or four 300+ shots in it. Durability is fine, but I would definite sacrifice it for a better sweet spot and feel when I hit the ball. If I had to make the choice again, it would not be this bat. I had used a "Crush" all you long and have definitely found it to be an all around better bat.

Swing it more like a line drive swing and you'll do ok.Personally I like my Synergy Flex better for my ASA league (probably because it's a balanced bat), but it's a few bucks more.

| Friday, July 29, 2005 | | Distance | 8 | I have had my envy for over a month now. I play almost everyday of the week and most weekends. The bat is very durable and is a solid base hit bat. However, it does not have the pop my DeMarini Dark has. I still use my DeMarini Dark as my primary bat when the weather is nice. Once I hit the homerun limit for a game, or if I am playing ASA I switch to the Envy. Overall the envy is a good base hit durable bat, and you will hit some shots with it, but the pop sucks compared to my DeMarini Dark! But the DeMarini Dark sucks in the durability department, so I am glad I have both.

This was definitely a good move by Mizuno to replace the Blur with this one, it is sick. The only thing is it is not a team bat. We got around 400 hits on it and it does have a small crack. But the ball is still rocken. Great bat for NSA or ASA.
